All incoming gearboxes and associated transmissions are given a thorough examination and evaluation to determine the extent of the damage, course of correction and the estimated repair cost.

CPM's origins date back to the 1940's in the repair and maintenance of electrical rotating equipment. Today our time served engineers offer a range of services:

CPM Engineering uses only the highest integrity materials and all electric motors are wound to a minimum Class H Standard. Coupled with its Vacuum & Pressure method of Impregnation (VPI), this extends operating life and gives significant protection in hostile environments. The full range of electrical plant - up to 20 tonnes- is repaired and tested to the most stringent standards, (includes HT & LV, AC & DC motors, generators, EX apparatus, variable speed, servo motors, transformers, switchgear etc). We use the latest repair techniques including load testing, automatic winding, VPI, Dynamic Balancing, automatic surface treatment, metal spraying, full machine shop facilities and hydraulic pressures.
